Alterations to five buildings A, B, C, D, and E at Skyline Elementary School, including but not limited to HVAC replacement, are required. Bidders must possess a valid California contractor's license (B and C-20 as required) and be registered as a public works contractor with the Department of Industrial Relations. Bids must be submitted electronically and accompanied by a bid bond, cashier's check, or certified check equal to 10% of the total bid price. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a 100% Performance Bond and a 100% Payment Bond. All workers must be paid at least the prevailing wage rates. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive responsible bidder based on the base bid amount only. Bids must conform and be responsive to all pertinent contract documents, including the instructions to bidders. The Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids and/or waive any irregularity in any bid received.
