Site work and paving for a civil project in Meridian, Idaho. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and road / highway.
The project consists of widening Linder Road from Overland Road to Franklin Road to five lanes, including a new four-lane bridge over I-84. The work includes new curb gutter and 10' buffered multi-use pathways, replacement of the Ten Mile Creek Bridge, stormwater improvements, irrigation pipe replacements, and two Pedestrian Hybrid Beacons. All work involving irrigation and/or bridge work shall be completed no later than March 15, 2027, unless otherwise approved by the irrigation district. All other work shall be completed in its entirety on or before November 5, 2027. The contractor shall be liable for any and all damage charges filed as a result of disruption of irrigation water delivery. Liquidated Damages of $5,000 per calendar day of delay will be assessed. A delay on one portion of the project does not justify delays on other portions of the project. Liquidated damage assessments shall be cumulative and concurrent.
