Renovation of a library in Toronto, Ontario. Completed plans call for the renovation of a library.
The primary objective is to retain a mechanical contractor to refurbish the existing constant volume and variable air volume thermal units and retrofit existing pneumatic control service devices with new direct digital controls (DDC) at the University's Library Building (LIB) located at 350 Victoria Street, Toronto. Instructions to bidders include submitting a Proposal Acknowledgement Form as a mandatory requirement and achieving a minimum passing score for the technical stage. Evaluation criteria will consider company information, relevant experience, project team, project understanding and proposed schedule, as well as social and sustainable practices. Pricing will be evaluated separately. The agreement will be a stipulated sum contract with terms lasting approximately six months or until project completion, whichever is longer. To register for Site Visit, please email bids@torontomu.ca by referencing the RFP and including the name and email address of the individual(s) attending. For clarity, registration is not required to attend the Site Visit; however, it does assist us in our planning. Please note that the Site Visit is expected to be approximately 1 hour in length. Site Visit shall be on the University Campus, downtown Toronto. Please meet us at [the lobby of 285 Victoria Street, Toronto, M5B 1W1 (VIC Bldg.)] in order to sign in with the University's Procurement Representative. For directions, please see the University's website. The University reserves the right to make additional Site Visits available to potential Proponents, at the University's sole discretion.
