Reference Number 0000416958 This project consists of removal and replacement of sinks, countertops, cabinets, and flooring in the kitchen, installation of donated dishwasher; removal of furnace and installation of air conditioning/heating units; removal and replacement of ceiling tiles and light fixtures in the front entry; removal and replacement of flooring; painting paneling; installation of an ADA ramp at the Senior Center Funding is provided through the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program. Federal governs the wages and working conditions for laborers and mechanics employed under construction contracts funded with CDBG funds. All bid proposals must be on the form provided and must be accompanied by a certified check or bank draft, payable to the order of the Town of Pierce negotiable U.S. Government bonds (at par value) or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and an acceptable surety in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total Bid. The selected Contractor will be required to furnish a 100% Contract Performance Bond and a 100% Contract Payment Bond to cover the execution of the Work which shall be in conformity with the Form of Bonds contained in the Specifications and for the Contract Amount. The Town of Pierce reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities in bids, and to accept the bid that, in the opinion of the Town of Pierce, is in the best interests of the Town of Pierce.
