Site work for a transportation facility in Perry, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a transportation facility.
The project generally includes removal of asphalt and base, grading and drainage, installation of new base and asphalt, pavement markings, taxiway edge lighting, sodding, erosion control, and maintenance of traffic. All bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked as specified. Bids are to be prepared in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders, and failure to comply may result in rejection. Bidders must comply with the Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) requirements, Buy American requirements, Davis Bacon prevailing wage rates, certifications regarding lobbying and debarment, and certification regarding foreign trade restriction. The DBE Participation Goal for this contract is 0%. A bid security of five percent (5%) of the total bid price is required. No bidder may withdraw their bid for 120 calendar days following the bid opening. Taylor County reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive deficiencies, and accept any bid in its best interest.
