Description

Site work and paving for a road / highway in Tavares, Florida. Conceptual plans call for site work for a road / highway.

The County is soliciting responses from qualified firms to provide Construction, Engineering, Inspection (CEI) Services for Hartwood Marsh. Firms are required to have at least one professional engineer registered with the Florida State Board of Professional Engineers, with a minimum of three years of responsible experience in bridge or roadway construction inspection. The consultant must have experience with FDOT documentation of CEI construction projects. Field technicians must be certified in relevant FDOT certification workshops, including Asphalt Roadway Paving Inspector, Asphalt Plant Inspector, ACI Class 1 Concrete Technician, and Nuclear Gauge Training. Consultant and subcontractors must comply with Florida Administrative Code 14-75.003. The scope of work, insurance requirements, general terms and conditions, laboratory testing and sampling schedule, PD&E study, and sample agreement are outlined in the included exhibits. Required attachments for submittal include forms regarding submittal, foreign entities and human trafficking affidavit, team composition, drug-free workplace certification, truth in negotiation certification, and conflict of interest certification.
