Carroll County is seeking bidders to submit proposals for the construction of a commercial kitchen at the Carroll County Civic Center. Proposals will be received for the furnishing and installation of commercial grade kitchen equipment. All bidders must submit a full proposal for scoring. Proposals shall include a layout for a 25' x 19' commercial kitchen, a list of equipment and supplies included. All equipment shall be new, commercial grade, NSF approved (where applicable), and compliant with Tennessee Health Department standards and local fire codes. Equipment to consider, but not limited to, includes cooking equipment, refrigeration equipment, work surfaces, food preparation equipment, dishwashing equipment, storage systems and/or cabinets, ventilation and fire suppression, miscellaneous kitchen fixtures and furnishings. The successful bidder shall provide costs and expectations for all labor, materials, delivery, installation, setup, warranty, testing, and operational instructions of commercial kitchen equipment. Proposals should also include a total bid price and a timeline for completion. The contract will be awarded to the highest scoring proposal complying with the conditions of the advertisement, provided the bid is reasonable and it is in the best interest of the Owner. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and to waive any informality in bids received whenever such rejection or waiver is in the interest of the Owner.
