The project involves the construction of Institutional Roads 2026-Pavement Preservation at Iowa State University, specifically improving portions of Edenburn Drive and Pammel Drive. The work includes, but is not limited to, asphalt milling, full depth asphalt and concrete patching, PCC curb and gutter, and asphalt paving. Bids are to be received electronically for a single General Construction Contract. Bid security must be included as stipulated in the Instructions to Bidders. Successful bidders must provide a Contract Performance and Payment Bond for 100% of the contract sum within ten days after receiving the Notice of Award. There is a participation goal of 10% for certified Targeted Small Businesses. The Iowa Board of Regents reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive irregularities, and accept the bid deemed in the best interest of the Owner. Preference is given to products and provisions grown and coal produced within the state of Iowa. All bidders must return complete sets of Bidding Documents within fifteen days after bid opening.
