Site work and new construction of a fire / police facility in Pike Road, Alabama. Completed plans call for the construction of a fire / police facility.
Sealed proposals are requested for the Pike Road Fire Department Training Center in Pike Road, Alabama. A cashier's check or bid bond payable to the Town of Pike Road in an amount not less than five percent of the bid, but not more than $10,000, must accompany each bid. Performance and Payment Bonds and proof of insurance as outlined in the bid documents are required at contract signing. Drawings and specifications are available for examination at the architect's office. Bid documents can be obtained via digital or file sharing access for a non-refundable $75 administrative fee, or with a $150 deposit per set, refundable for the first two sets submitted with a bona fide bid and returned in good condition within ten days post-bid date. No partial sets available. Deposits should be sent to the architect's office. A pre-bid conference will be held for bidders to review the project and clarify bidding procedures. Bids must be submitted on forms provided by the architect. Bidders exceeding thresholds set by the State Licensing Board for General Contractors must be licensed in Alabama and must display their license number on the bid envelope. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and waive technical errors in favor of the Owner's interests.
