This project is part of a global approach to beautifying, greening and optimizing school outdoor spaces, contributing to the well-being, health, and safety of students. The work involves the removal of approximately 300 m2 of asphalt, in order to reduce mineralized surfaces and mitigate heat islands. This surface will be replaced by: o Hybrid synthetic coating with Nordic-Lawn technology, offering a durable and safe soccer playing area. o The planting of three islands of trees, promoting biodiversity, natural shading and combating heat islands; o The implementation of a shade cloth to create a sun-protected area for students; o The addition of an additional basketball court, allowing for a diversification of physical activity offerings and reduced congestion during recess periods; o The installation of a container dedicated to the storage of physical education material, in order to improve the organization, sustainability and accessibility of the material. o Improved stormwater management, particularly through the reduction of impermeable surfaces and the integration of facilities that promote natural water infiltration.
