Description

Renovation of a bridge / tunnel in Highland, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a bridge / tunnel.

The work involves providing design services for System-Wide Substructure Repairs at the Bear Mountain, Newburgh-Beacon (North and South Spans), Mid-Hudson, Kingston-Rhinecliff, and Rip Van Winkle Bridges. The selected firm will conduct condition evaluations, review inspection reports, perform targeted field investigations, assess concrete piers and abutments, and prepare bid-ready construction documents. All work must conform to NYSDOT, AASHTO, and NYSBA standards. Firms must have experience in bridge design and rehabilitation. Participation by New York state-certified MWBE and SDVOB firms is encouraged.
