The City of Coldwater, Branch County, MI is soliciting bids to provide for the collection and disposal of residential and municipal solid waste and recycling services throughout the City from June 1, 2026 through May 31, 2029. Bids are sought only from responsible and established bidders who are experienced and regularly engaged in solid waste collection and recycling services. Bidders must provide satisfactory evidence of the necessary capital, equipment, personnel, and experience required for the work. All bids must be submitted on the bid forms furnished by the City and must be accompanied by a bid bond, bank cashier’s check, bank draft, or certified check for ten percent (10%) of the first-year contract amount as security for the acceptance of the contract. Bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes and plainly marked as indicated. The City Council reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to accept any bid deemed most advantageous to the City.
