Sealed bids are requested for Echo Road Storm Improvements in accordance with specifications available from the Public Service Department. Bidders must use provided forms, include the full names of all interested parties, and attend a mandatory pre-bid meeting. Proposals must include a bid guaranty and contract bond as specified by Ohio Revised Code Section 153.54, evidence of experience on similar projects, and a list of all subcontractors. Compliance with prevailing wage laws and EEO regulations is required. The City reserves the right to apply local bidder preference, reject any or all bids, waive irregularities, and accept bids in whole or in part as deemed most favorable. Goals for Minority Participation Each Trade 10.0 to 12.5 % This project is located in the rear yards of City of Stow residents on Echo Road and connects to an existing storm sewer system in Munroe Falls. This project involves the installation of 162 LF 4" Conduit , Type C, SDR 35, 20 LF 6" Conduit , Type C, SDR 35, 325 LF 12" Conduit , Type C, 707.65 , 152 LF 12" Conduit , Type B, 707.65 , two (2) Precast catch basins ODOT No. 2-2A , three (3) Precast catch basin ODOT No. 2-2B , one (1) Precast Catch Basin ODOT No. 3A, one (1) Precast storm manhole , 600 SF 4" Concrete Walk and 65 LF of 24" Type 3 Curb and Gutter . Restoration is required for all disturbed areas . The completion date for this project with be July 31, 2026. Any extension due to inclement weather must be in excess of five (5) full days /month . Only full rainout days will be considered , time extensions must be requested in writing within seven (7) days of the inclement weather . All other extensions must follow Item 108.06 O.D.O.T.
