The work shall consist of the installation of an 8-inch water main along Debruin Road in the Town of Buchanan and Village of Harrison. Additional work includes 80 linear feet under CTH KK and approximately related services. All bids must be submitted online via QuestCDN vBid™ in accordance with and upon the forms included in the contract documents. In order to be a plan holder or bidder, each firm or organization must either download bidding documents from the McMahon Associates, Inc. website using QuestCDN eBidDocTM or obtain a hard copy as designated. Complete digital bidding documents are available for a non-refundable fee. An optional paper set is available for an additional cost, plus applicable sales tax and shipping. Full-size drawings are available upon request at additional cost. All bids must be accompanied by a Certified Check or satisfactory Bid Bond payable to the Darboy Joint Sanitary District No. 1, in an amount not less than 5% of the maximum bid as a guarantee that, if the bid is accepted, the bidder will execute and file the contract, performance/payment bonds, and insurance certification, as required by the contract documents, within 15 days after the notice of award. The owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive any informalities in bidding, or accept the bid(s) which best serve the interests of the Darboy Joint Sanitary District No. 1. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after the scheduled opening without the consent of the owner.
