Demolition, site work and new construction of a civil project in Ithaca, New York. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; for the construction of a water / sewer project; and for the demolition of a water / sewer project.
Sealed bids are requested for the project involving Meadow Street Sewer Rehabilitation and Buffalo Street Pump Station Replacement in the City of Ithaca, New York. The work includes providing the materials, equipment, and labor necessary to rehabilitate a sanitary sewer main by in-situ lining, re-establishing existing lateral connections, performing manhole rehabilitation, lift station and building demolition, and construction of a lift station. Bids should be submitted in a sealed envelope labeled with the project title. Bids should not include sales taxes. Each bid must be accompanied by a deposit equal to five percent of the total gross sum bid, in the form of a certified check, bank draft, or bid bond. Cash is not acceptable. Bid deposits for unsuccessful bidders will be returned promptly after contract execution with the successful bidder. Only amendments issued by the City of Ithaca or its designee are valid. Bidders may submit written questions for clarification. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informality or technicality in the interest of the owner. Late bids will not be accepted, regardless of delivery method.
