Renovation of a detention facility in Bastrop, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a detention facility.
Remove the existing septic tank and associated piping to allow installation of a new fiberglass manhole with grinder pump and a new duplex sewer lift station within a precast concrete sump. Extend the sewer system to the designated Corix Utilities tie-in point, coordinating all work directly with the utility provider and assuming responsibility for all tie-in-related costs. Location: Federal Correctional Institution Bastrop, 1341 Highway 95 North, Bastrop, TX 78602. Submit all requests for information to Michael Giaquinto at Michael.giaquinto2@va.gov. Questions due by May 1, 2026.
