The Miami-Dade Aviation Department (MDAD) seeks qualified contractors to perform critical on-call services and emergency/priority maintenance work at MDAD’s facilities under a work order-based program for a period of two years. The contract is for the Painting and Waterproofing trade with a contract value of $2,500,000. Selection of the contractor will be based on competitive unit prices, qualifications, experience, past performance, availability, and capacity. Only one contractor will be selected for this RPQ. Contractors must provide bid bonds and, if selected, performance and payment bonds. The contract does not guarantee assignment of the full contract amount and work will be authorized as needed via work orders. Minimum qualifications include holding a valid contractor’s license for the specified trade, at least five years of experience, and the demonstrated capacity to perform the work. All required bid documents, including forms of proof of experience and bid bonds, must be submitted in a sealed envelope. Contractors must comply with MDAD security requirements and obtain all necessary identification and clearances for their employees and subcontractors.
