The work includes providing all professional architectural and engineering services and all construction labor, tools, equipment, and materials for the Design-Build Major Maintenance and Repair at USCG AIRSTA Miami. The scope includes replacing the existing carpet flooring with floor tiling in the TACLET Building, repairing all damaged HVAC ducting and piping insulation, replacing all fan coil units and air handling units, and replacing all windows and exterior doors with hurricane-rated versions. Damaged ceiling tiles will be replaced, and comprehensive mold abatement will be performed throughout the TACLET Building. In the Galley Building and Building 112, HVAC controls will be replaced to improve operational performance. At the AIRSTA Miami Fixed Wing Hangar, the air handling unit will be replaced to ensure reliable climate control. Bid, Payment, and Performance Bonds are required for this effort. The Method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this Time.
