Renovation of a multi-residential development in Lakewood, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the renovation of a multi-residential development.

The work includes replacing two 3,150 MBTU/Hr input gas boilers, repiping the boilers to the existing piping circuit, rewiring the boilers to existing controls, repiping feed water to the new boilers, repiping the flue to the existing chimney, lining the existing chimney, reconnecting the gas line with purge and leak check, insulating new piping to the boilers, piping and installing boiler pumps to feed the building loop, and removing old boilers from the site and discarding them. All construction trades are included, such as electrical and plumbing. Bids must be submitted in triplicate, in a sealed envelope designated as to the contract, including the name and address of the bidder. Each bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond or certified check for 10% of the bid amount not to exceed $20,000, and a consent of surety from a licensed Surety Company indicating it will issue the necessary payment and performance bond if awarded. Proposals must also include required affidavits as referred to in the Instructions to Bidders. The successful bidder must obtain a Payment and Performance Bond for the full contract amount. Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action Regulations are applicable. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality or reject any or all bids.
