Wood Oaks Demo & Abatement. Bids shall be submitted in an opaque sealed envelope. A Bid Security of 10% of the Bid is required. The Contractor must pay the Prevailing Wage Rates for all work per Illinois Law. Bidders are required to attend a non-mandatory pre-bid meeting. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, to waive irregularities in the bidding procedure, or accept the Bid that will serve its best interest. The Owner may set aside a Bid from a Contractor who does not exhibit past experience equal to the size and scope of this project. The bidder shall have a written sexual harassment policy in place in full compliance with Section 2-105 of the Illinois Human Rights Act. Pre-qualification requirements: Bidders must be pre-qualified by Nicholas & Associates, Inc. and approved by the Owner, and are required to have submitted an AIA 305-Contractors Qualification statement to the offices of Nicholas & Associates, Inc., prior to submitting a bid.
