The scope of work includes labor for construction, replacement and removal of walls, doors, windows, flooring, roofing, masonry, plumbing, plumbing fixtures, and other associated work. Individual work tasks will be limited to $75,000.00. All construction materials will be furnished by the Owner. Question Deadline 04/10/2026 Every request for such interpretation should be in writing emailed to purchasing@gulfport-ms.gov and to be given consideration must be received at least five (5) days prior to the date fixed for the opening of bids. One (1) original and one (1) USB copy of each proposal must be submitted when submitting in person or upload documents to Gulfport's Plan Room at www.gulfportmsbids.com. Official bid documents can be downloaded from the City of Gulfport's Plan Room at www.gulfportmsbids.com. Electronic bids and/or reverse auctions bids can also be submitted at www.gulfportmsbids.com. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. For bids exceeding $50,000.00, Bidder must indicate his Certificate of Responsibility Number on the outside of sealed proposal as required by Mississippi Law. Any bid submitted by a nonresident contractor which does not include the nonresident contractor's current state law pertaining to such state's treatment of nonresident contractors, shall be rejected and not considered for award. If no such law exists in the non-resident contractor's state, then the non-resident contractor may provide a statement to that effect. No bidder may withdraw his bid within sixty (60) days after the actual date of the opening thereof. The City is NOT responsible for responses which are mailed to the wrong address, or which arrive in the mail or electronically after the designated bid opening time. Direct contact with any City employee, GRC Commissioners, including Administration and City Council, on the subject of this proposal is strictly forbidden. Violation of this paragraph will result in disqualification of your submission. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids.
