Site work and paving for a transportation facility in Atwood, Kansas. Completed plans call for site work for a transportation facility.
Furnish all labor, materials, and equipment and perform all work necessary to rehabilitate asphalt pavement on Runway 17/35, turnarounds, mid-field connecting taxiway, apron, and taxilane at the Atwood-Rawlins County Airport. The work includes approximately: crack repair (53,050 LF), pavement marking removal (35,193 SF), asphalt surface treatment (53,500 SY), runway friction testing (1 LS), and pavement marking (26,830 SF). Contractors bidding need not be pre-qualified but must be qualified to do the work. The project is subject to the requirements of 49 CFR Part 26 Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Participation, with a contract participation goal of 0.0% for small business concerns owned and controlled by certified disadvantaged business enterprises (DBE). The award of contract is subject to federal provisions including affirmative action, Buy American preferences, Davis Bacon Act, Governmentwide Debarment and Suspension, Federal Fair Labor Standards Act, Lobbying and Influencing Federal Employees, Trade Restrictions, and more. In all activities, the contractor must comply with civil rights statutes to ensure no person is excluded from participation or discriminated against.
