Project has not yet been awarded and a timeline for award has not yet been established The Contractor's scope of work includes furnishing all labor, equipment, and materials required to install one (1) 20" insertion valve, two(2) 30" line stops, and a 30" gate valve including restrained couplings, fittings, valve boxes, and appurtenances; exploratory excavation; concrete thrust blocks; excavation, backfill, and compaction; cutting and connection to existing 30" watermain; protection of existing utilities and structures; valve pressure testing; site restoration including topsoil/seed, pavement, concrete, etc; NYSDOT Permitting; and additional requirements included within the specifications at the following locations: N. Genesee Street near the Thruway On-Ramp, Utica Instructions to bidders: Bids must be submitted on the provided forms, include a five percent bid security in the specified form, and will be accepted only from those who obtain bid documents from MVWA and are registered as bidders. The MVWA reserves the right to waive any informality and reject any or all bids. Bids may also be rejected based on the resources, financial standing, or experience of the bidder.
