The project consists of concrete rehabilitation at various locations throughout the City of Grand Terrace, including removal and replacement of damaged sidewalks, installation of ADA ramps, and associated traffic control and mobilization. All proposals or bids shall be accompanied by cash, a check payable to the City of Grand Terrace and certified by a responsible bank for an amount which shall not be less than ten percent (10%) of the bid or by a bond for the amount over and above all statutory exemptions , or by a bond of an accredited surety company he successful bidder will be required to furnish a labor and materials bond and a faithful performance bond in the amount equal to 100% each of the contract price , such bonds to be secured by a surety company or surety companies satisfactory to the City Council of the City of Grand Terrace . The successful bidder must possess a Class A or Class C-12 Contractors license at the time of award of this contract . The City of Grand Terrace reserves the right to reject all bids and re- advertise if the City determines that of the lowest bid will not be in the best interests of the City of Grand Terrace . Should it appear that the work to be done or any matter relative thereto is not sufficiently detailed or explained by the Specifications, the Contractor shall apply to the Engineer for such further explanation as may be necessary and shall conform to such explanation or interpretation as part of the Contract so far as may be consistent with the intent of the original Plans and Specifications. In the event of any discrepancy between any drawing and the figures written thereon, the figures shall be taken as correct. $50000-$65000 *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
