Doylestown Borough, Bucks County is seeking sealed bids online for improvements to West State Street (S.R. 3002), West Court Street (S.R. 3003), and Clinton Street. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond or a certified check in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the bid amount, in the form and subject to the conditions provided in the instructions. The successful bidder will be required to furnish satisfactory Performance and Payment Bonds in the amount of 100% each of the contract amount, and a Maintenance Bond in the amount equal to 15% of the contract amount, on the specified Bond Forms. The work will be paid for in accordance with the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act (Act No. 442). The right is reserved to waive any immaterial defect or informality in the bid, to reject any or all bids, to eliminate any item or items from the contract, and to accept any bid deemed most favorable to the Owner.
