The project involves the renovation of an existing 36,145 square foot elementary school to be repurposed for the Blackfoot High School Technical Education program. The scope includes selective demolition of finishes and casework, renovations to classrooms and restrooms, new finishes in classrooms, new ceilings, addition of a lift for access to the second floor, installation of an automatic fire sprinkling system, new mechanical systems, substantial upgrades to electrical systems, and other work as specified in the construction documents. The contract will cover all labor, materials, equipment, and services required to complete the project as defined in the documents. Bidders must submit sealed proposals clearly marked with the project name and include a bid bond amounting to 5% of the proposal maximum. The successful bidder must provide a 100% Performance and Payment Bond. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all proposals or to waive irregularities or formalities in proposals.
