The State University of New York at Stony Brook is soliciting qualifications from consultants to provide design services for the assessment and design of geothermal systems across multiple campuses at Stony Brook University. The scope includes assessment of existing site conditions, existing building systems, and existing/future ground sourced heat exchanger (GSHC) geothermal systems. The purpose is to expand the University's geothermal capabilities with new design services on the Stony Brook and Southampton Campuses to support de-carbonization efforts. The assessment will inform new and/or expanded GSHC systems and the design to connect existing buildings to these networks, alongside necessary building system modifications.
