Provide all labor, supervision, equipment, and cleaning supplies necessary for janitorial services at multiple city facilities, coordinating work to avoid disruption of city operations and performing services after 5:00 PM unless otherwise noted. Maintain service logs for restrooms and use city-approved cleaning products, with organic options preferred. The city will supply trash liners, toilet tissue, paper towels, and hand soap. Carry general liability and automobile liability insurance of $1,000,000 each, comply with NYS workers’ compensation, and name the City of Geneva as additional insured. Services cover City Hall (2 days/week), Public Safety Building (3 days/week), Recreation Complex (1 day/week), and Lakefront Public Restrooms (Sat-Sun, April–October) as well as Lakefront Trash Service (April–October). Duties include standard cleaning tasks such as emptying trash, cleaning restrooms, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, dusting, and restocking supplies, with certain tasks (e.g., carpet shampoo, floor stripping, exterior window cleaning) excluded from the base and requiring alternate pricing. Additional cleaning days may be requested for lakefront facilities with two weeks’ notice. The city reserves the right to adjust service frequency and to terminate the contract for unsatisfactory performance with 15 days written notice.
