The project generally consists of the construction of a replacement well for existing Well 2 located at the Townships Harbor Road Water Treatment Plant. The replacement well includes the installation of new casing pipes, column pipe, well pump and motor, discharge piping and pipe insulation for Well #2A. In addition, sections of the existing raw water mains from Wells #1 and #2 will be replaced. All required bidder information can be found in the bid documents. Any reference in the bid specification documents to the terms Proposal or Proposer shall be construed to have the same meaning as the terms Bid or Bidder pursuant to the Local Public Contracts Law. All bidders are required to comply with the requirements of P.L. 1975, c. 127 (N.J.A.C. 17:27 et seq.) and all other applicable local, state and federal laws. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of Equal Opportunity Employment (N.J.S.A.10:5-31 et seq.) and Affirmative Action (N.J.A.C. 17:27) and with the disclosure provisions of N.J.S.A. 19:44A-20.13. The contract or subcontract is expected to be funded in part with funds from the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection and the New Jersey Environmental Infrastructure Trust. This contract or subcontract is subject to the provisions of N.J.A.C. 7:22-3, 4, 5, 9 and 10. The Successful Bidder must comply with all provisions of N.J.A.C. 7:22-9.1 et. seq. for the participation of small business enterprises owned and controlled by Socially and Economically Disadvantaged Individuals (SED's).
