Renovation of a mixed-use development in Gueydan, Louisiana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 35,000-square-foot elderly care / assisted living facility.
The work consists of the removal and replacement of designated metal flashings and miscellaneous components on the approximately 35,000 square foot standing seam metal roof, proper cleaning, and application of a fluid applied metal roof coating on the entire metal roof system. Associated work includes protection of the existing building and grounds, cleaning and painting of designated metal roof components, cleaning of the pre-finished metal soffit/ceiling panels, and other incidental work as noted on the drawings and specifications. Question Deadline 04/03/2026 Bidders and Sub-bidders requiring clarification or interpretation of Bidding Documents shall make a written request which shall reach the Architect at least ten days prior to the date for receipt of Bids. Bids must be submitted on the Bid Form included in the specifications. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond for five percent (5%) of the total amount bid. The successful contractor must execute performance and labor and material payment bonds for the full contract amount. Bidders for contracts of $50,000.00 or more must be licensed under Louisiana law for "Building Construction" or "Roofing and Sheet Metal, Siding" and show the license number on the bid envelope. Prime bidders must register with and acquire plans and specifications from the office of the Architect to be eligible to bid. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all quotations or any portions thereof for just cause. Doc note - Deposit for the first set is fully refundable to all bona fide prime contract bidders and a refund of $50.00 less any mailing or delivery charges will be made for all additional sets to general contractors and to all subcontractors and material suppliers upon return of documents in good condition not later than ten (10) days after receipt of bids.
