Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Buckley, Washington. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; water / sewer project; road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; water / sewer project; and sidewalk / parking lot.

Sealed Proposals will be received for furnishing the necessary labor, materials, equipment, tools, and guarantees to construct the Spruce Street Improvements. The project is divided into three schedules: Schedule A includes replacement of approximately 660 LF of water main with 8-inch diameter ductile iron pipe, installation of fire hydrants, and water services. Schedule B includes replacement of approximately 630 LF of sanitary sewer main with 12-inch diameter PVC pipe, manhole replacements, and side sewer replacements. Schedule C includes construction of a new storm trunk line and collection system involving approximately 620 LF of 24-inch diameter CPEP pipe, 8-inch and 6-inch diameter storm pipe, catch basins, two treatment structures, slot drains, and area drains. Schedule C also covers pavement widening and reconstruction, cement concrete curb and gutter on both sides of the road, cement concrete sidewalk on the east side, installation of two rectangular rapid flashing beacons, driveway regrading, pavement marking, permanent signing, and surface restoration. The work must be substantially complete within 80 working days after the commencement date stated in the Notice to Proceed. Proposals must be submitted on the provided form, accompanied by a certified check, postal money order, cashier's check, or proposal bond payable to the City of Buckley in an amount not less than five percent of the total proposal amount. All bidding and construction must comply with the Contract Provisions and Plans, and any addenda. The City of Buckley reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive minor irregularities or informalities in any proposal.
