PennDOT approved design required as per Bulletin 27. Seal coat design to be based on :First #8 stone 1.0% loss by wash Second Layer #9M , less than 500 ADT , condition of existing surface category (b) Slightly pocked , porous , and oxidized surface , CRS -2PM (E-3M ) Emulsion . All workmanship and material to be in compliance with PennDOT Specification (MS -0340-0005 Bituminous Seal Coat ) Proof of PennDOT calibration of chipper and distributor required .
