The scope of work includes completion of the Shawnee Parking Lot and associated curbing and sidewalk restoration and replacement as identified in the plans prepared by CME Associates. This includes site demolition, material removal, excavation, grading, modification of site utilities as required, compaction, concrete work, finished paving, application of striping, lane markings, directional arrows, installation or reinstallation of signage, and all work depicted in the contract specifications and drawings. General construction improvements include the construction of two entrance porticoes consisting of masonry and wood-framed support structures with metal roofing and drainage structures. Electrical site and building work involves electrical service relocation and new electrical services required for the site and building as indicated in the plans by Concord Engineering. All specified temporary measures and provisions must be included, such as site maintenance, protection measures, soil conservation measures, temporary signage, barricades, lighting devices and signage, and as may be required by the Authority Having Jurisdiction. The work also includes cleaning and restoration of the work area and surrounding grounds. Bidders, or their subcontractors, must be classified by the State of New Jersey in the specified categories and present evidence of pre-qualifications, business registration, and required licenses with their bid.
