The agreement will include all services required for ground maintenance, including the furnishing of all materials, equipment, transportation, labor, debris removal, and related incidentals necessary for the completion of these services. All work must comply with Federal, State, Local, and OSHA regulations as well as all relevant ordinances, including noise regulations. Debris and debris removal are the responsibility of the contractor, and debris is to be dumped at the City’s Transfer Station on Beechwood Ave. The service locations are: Jacks Friendship Garden at North Ave and Eastchester Rd, Ruby Dee Park at Library Green (Huguenot St and Library Plaza 6), and the Wildcliff Property at Hudson Park (44 Wildcliff Rd., including the area within the Wildcliff Mansion and Children’s Greenhouse, the driveway circle, and the grass island inside the driveway). Vendors must read the entire document, complete all sections including the Vendor Data Section, and sign where indicated to acknowledge acceptance of the terms and conditions. All requested prices must be filled in as indicated, with no changes to the provided terms or items. Each bid must be submitted in a separate sealed envelope, clearly labeled with vendor name, bid number, and due date, and properly signed. Only sealed, hard-copy bids received by the specified time will be considered; faxed or emailed bids are not permitted. All bids are subject to prevailing wage requirements. Contractors and subcontractors must be registered with the New York State Department of Labor Public Work Contractor and Subcontractor Registry at the time of bid submission. The City encourages bids from Minority Business Enterprises (MBE) and Women Business Enterprises (WBE).
