Site work and paving for a bridge / tunnel in Peterson, Minnesota. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel.
Sealed bids will be accepted for bridge replacement and approach grading on CSAH 25, 0.1 miles west of Jct TH 16 over the Root River, in the City of Peterson, MN. Plans, Proposal, and Specifications can be examined and obtained from the Fillmore County Highway Department. The price for plans and proposal is $100.00 if picked up, or $120.00 if sent by US mail, with payment by check, draft, or money order payable to the Fillmore County Treasurer. Bids must be individually sealed and identified for each specific project. A bidder's bond or certified check amounting to at least 5% of the total bid must accompany the bid. Minimum wage rates applicable to the project have been predetermined and are subject to the Work Hours Act of 1962. The project is subject to state and federal requirements for non-discrimination, affirmative action, and equal employment opportunity. Appropriate parties to any contract must possess valid Certificates of Compliance under the Minnesota Human Rights Act. This project has a Disadvantaged Business Enterprises-Neutral (DBE-N) goal. Fillmore County reserves the right to reject any or all bids. Bidders are instructed to read carefully the wage scales and Division A of the special provisions as they affect the project.
