Sealed proposals are requested for replacing a variable frequency drive on a 2011 McQuay centrifugal cooler chiller (Model # WSC063-DAABR) at 391 West South St, Hernando. All bids must comply with provided specifications. The awarded bidder must provide a Performance and Payment Bond within ten days of award, equal to 100% of the bid amount. Bids may be submitted via sealed envelope to the Office of Procurement or electronically via Central Bidding's website. The Board of Supervisors reserves the right to reject any and all bids and waive any informalities. South St., Hernando, MS 38632. The project will include the following tasks: 2. Provide mobilization needed for rigging and tools to the site. 3. Provide labor and materials to remove defective compressor VFD from the site. 4. Provide and deliver new OEM, ABB, and VFD, selected per factory specs. 5. Provide and paint custom adapter plates for mounting the new VFD. 6. Modify all wiring and incoming line voltage to accommodate the new VFD. 7. Start the new VFD and verify all chiller operations. Startup and controls will need to be scheduled with EK Automation. 8. Specify warranty for parts and labor. 9. All materials shall be installed according to manufacturer specifications. 10. Selected contractor will be responsible for disposal of all materials in a safe and legal manner. 11. The Contractor shall operate in a safe manner and will observe all OSHA guidelines. 12. The work must be done during regular business hours or on a Saturday with prior notification and approval by the Facilities Director, Garrett Madero. 13. The Contractor must submit a proposal that includes a timeline for this bid. 14. This is a repair to an existing structure, when disassembling and installing the new VFD, if an unknown repair or modification is necessary DeSoto County will follow the MS Code 31-7-13(m) guidelines
