Site work and paving for a bridge / tunnel in Watkinsville, Georgia. Working plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
**As of May 28, 2026, bids received were rejected as they were over the budget. Project will be rebid but no definite date yet.** Oconee County is soliciting bids from qualified contractors for repairing two bridges and replacing expansion joint seams on five bridges throughout the County. Contractors must be GDOT pre-certified. Please see Section II of the bid documents for the full Scope of Work. Sealed bids will be accepted by the Oconee County Finance Department at the Oconee County Administrative Building. Submissions that are hand delivered must be received and initialed by the Finance Department. Submissions that are mailed in should be sent to: Oconee County Finance Department, 7635 Macon Highway, Box 700, Watkinsville, Georgia, 30677. Sealed bids will be publicly opened and recorded at the Oconee County Administrative Building North High Shoals conference room located at 7635 Macon Highway, Watkinsville, GA 30677. Bids received after this time will not be accepted. Questions regarding this ITB must be received in writing via email no later than 5:00 pm on April 6, 2026. Questions regarding this ITB should be directed to Ms. Jessica Ellis, Procurement OUicer via email at ocbids@oconee.ga.us and shall be received Event bid note: sealed bids will be publicly opened and recorded at the Oconee County Administrative Building North High Shoals conference room located at 7635 Macon Highway Watkinsville, GA 30677.
