Reference Number 0000404678 Oconee County is seeking proposals from Contractors interested in installing a new flute fill insulation/TPO roofing system on the Oconee County Civic Center located at 2661 Hog Mountain Road Watkinsville, Georgia 30677. Please see Section III of the bid documents for a more detailed description of the project. Question Acceptance Deadline 12/05/2025 5:00 PM ET Questions are submitted online No Each sealed envelope must be marked on the outside as "Civic Center Re-Roof Project RFP #26-11-008" and should include the respondent's name and address. A bid bond* in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total bid amount and a Consent of Surety must be enclosed in bid submissions at the time of the bid opening. The Consent of Surety shall state that upon award of agreement, a Performance and Payment bond of one hundred percent (100%) of the total agreement amount can be furnished. *Surety companies executing bonds must be authorized to transact business in the State of Georgia. Pursuant to Georgia law, no bids will be considered without an executed E-Verify affidavit. The successful bidder will be required to pay sales and use tax on materials purchased or used on this project. Progress payments and retainage for construction shall be submitted to owner monthly and payment terms are net thirty (30) days. This Public Works project shall commence within ten (10) days of the Notice to Proceed (NTP) and shall be completed within one hundred eighty two (182) consecutive calendar days thereafter, unless otherwise specified. For additional work, the contractor shall commence work within fourteen (14) days of request and proceed without undue delay until work is completed. The OCBOC reserves the right to cancel this solicitation and/or reject any and all proposals in whole or in part if it is determined that cancellation and/or rejections are advantageous to the County.
