New construction of a road / highway in Watkinsville, Georgia. Completed plans call for the construction of a road / highway.
Description: The Oconee County Board of Commissioners is soliciting bids from qualified Contractors interested in providing the construction of a roundabout located at the intersection of Colham Ferry Road & Astondale Road. Contractor must be GDOT pre-certified. All construction materials shall be in accordance with the GDOT qualified products list. Sealed Bids will be accepted by the Oconee County Finance Department located at the Oconee County Administrative Building. Questions regarding this ITB should be directed to Ms. Jessica Ellis, Procurement OUicer via email at ocbids@oconee.ga.us and shall be received no later than 5:00 PM, October 20, 2025. This Public Works project shall commence within ten (10) days of the Notice to Proceed (NTP) and shall be completed within one hundred eighty (180) calendar days thereafter, unless otherwise specified. For additional work, the contractor shall commence work within fourteen (14) days of request and proceed without undue delay until work is completed. Each sealed envelope must be marked on the outside as "Roundabout at Colham Ferry Road & Astondale Road ITB #26-09-005" and should include the respondent's name and address.
