In accordance with the Consultants’ Competitive Negotiation Act (F.S. 287.055), statements of qualifications are sought from firms to provide miscellaneous continuing professional engineering, surveying, and design services on an as-needed basis in connection with the development and improvement of infrastructure or projects such as Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) task orders. Respondents may submit qualifications for one or more of the following professional services disciplines, each of which will have its scope of services negotiated as project needs arise. The categories of services include: A. Civil Engineering Services: General consultation, design, preparation of plans/specs, construction documents, budget estimates, bidding assistance, construction administration, on-site representation, permit acquisition, and related tasks with possible coordination with state/local agencies. B. Traffic Engineering Services: General consultation, design, traffic studies, operational and safety analysis, signal design, multimodal planning, and related services. C. Land Surveying Services: Boundary, topographic, route, and construction surveys, as-built drawings, public records research, easement preparation, and mapping. D. Environmental Engineering Services: Consultation, design, document preparation, budget estimates, bidding, construction administration, permit acquisition, hazardous waste remediation, noise and wetland studies, environmental impact statements, and compliance support. E. Civil Engineering Inspection Services: Field inspections for paving/grading/trails, review of plats and plans for compliance, and development/revision of standard details and specs. F. Comprehensive Design Services: Site design, landscape architecture, site and public improvements planning, and architectural/roadway/intersection/trail/stormwater/safety studies and permitting. G. Structural Engineering Services: Structural analysis/design, drawing preparation, inspections, rehabilitation recommendations, and services for buildings, bridges, dams, and similar structures. H. City of Brooksville Community Redevelopment Agency: Multidisciplinary services for CRA projects, including public involvement, multimodal planning, stormwater, parking, traffic, signal, structural, utility, roadway, capital improvements planning, agency coordination, infrastructure review, hardscape/softscape enhancement, environmental engineering, project management, and representation with government entities. The City may contract directly with one or more qualified firms in each discipline. Where multidisciplinary work is required, the City may request teams or use subconsultants as needed. The scope for each assignment will be negotiated based on project requirements. Method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
