The objective of this contract is to perform road and bridge maintenance, upgrade, and construction works on BC Timber Sales Forest Service Roads within the Kootenay Lake Field Unit area. Project works assigned under this contract vary in nature from basic repairs or routine maintenance and road deactivation to more complex work including implementation of measures of a structural or construction nature, prescribed by a Professional Engineer or Geoscientist. Additional activities may include structural upgrades, repairs and deactivation, and reconstruction of roads and bridges. Some emergency services are also an expectation of this contract. Maintenance assignments are an “as and when needed” service. Submissions must be submitted using one of the following delivery methods: BC Bid Electronic Submission (only for pre-authorized electronic bidders registered on the BC Bid system) or hardcopy tender submitted to the closing location. Questions related to this opportunity should be submitted to the Official Contact before this requested cut off date and time. Questions received after this date and time may not be answered. Question Deadline 03/30/2026 at 12:00 PM PT All contract related questions must be submitted in writing ONLY to the following email address: Forests.KootenayTimberSalesOffice@gov.bc.ca. If questions are received, a Question & Answer document will be posted to BC Bid by March 31, 2026.
