This project includes the manual brushing of approximately 53 hectares and up to 50 person days of ‘day rate’ brushing within BC Timber Sales’ Arrow North Field Unit. Treatment units are spread across the field unit and are generally within 100 km of Nakusp BC. Manual brushing includes cutting all competing vegetation within a 1.25m cylinder around crop trees in accordance with the contract treatment specifications. All specific information regarding crop tree species, heights, target vegetation, and other important information is included in the Appendix I – 2026 Brushing Treatment Ledger.
