Site work and paving for a road / highway in Mount Ayr, Indiana. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
The Project consists of 4-inch Mill and Fill, Full Depth Widening, Road Striping, Storm Sewer Improvements (Approx 1,350 LF: 575' of RCP and 775' of HDPE), and other appurtenant wholly within the Town of Mount Ayr. Sealed bids are requested for the construction of road improvements, including 4-inch mill and fill, full depth widening, road striping, storm sewer improvements (approximately 1,350 linear feet: 575 feet of reinforced concrete pipe and 775 feet of high-density polyethylene pipe), and related work within the Town of Mount Ayr. Bids must be submitted as a single prime contract on a unit price basis. Two copies of the sealed bid, with the project name and bidder's name and address, must be submitted. Bidders must provide a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond equal to 5% of the total bid as security. A 100% labor, material, and performance bond is required from the successful bidder. Bidders must submit Indiana State Form 96 and be certified to work in Indiana. Additional requirements are detailed in the Instructions to Bidders in the project documents. No bids may be withdrawn for 60 days after opening without the owner's consent. The owner may reject any or all bids or waive informalities as allowed by law.
