The Ector County ISD, School Nutrition Department is soliciting proposals for the design, procurement, delivery, installation, integration, configuration, testing, and commissioning of additional kitchen security camera systems to improve monitoring coverage of kitchen and serving areas at ECISD campuses. The purpose of this project is to enhance security, operational oversight, and accountability within school kitchen facilities by installing additional security cameras in areas where existing cameras do not provide adequate coverage. The project will support the protection of food inventory, district equipment, and School Nutrition Department assets while improving safety and incident documentation. All installed equipment must include new cameras and associated components, on-site delivery, installation of required cabling and mounting hardware, network integration with the District's existing video management system, system configuration, testing, commissioning, and operational training. The project shall be provided as a complete turnkey installation. The Contractor shall evaluate the District's existing camera infrastructure and utilize existing cameras where feasible. Additional cameras shall be installed as necessary to eliminate visibility gaps and ensure full monitoring coverage of kitchen operational areas including food storage areas, preparation areas, serving lines, and receiving areas. Final camera placement and viewing angles must be reviewed and approved by the ECISD School Nutrition Director or designee prior to project completion. If camera positioning does not provide acceptable coverage, the Contractor shall adjust camera placement as directed by the District at no additional cost. Project Sites: Additional security cameras will be installed in kitchen and serving areas at the following thirty-seven (37) ECISD campuses. ECISD reserves the right to add or remove campuses prior to contract execution based on operational needs, camera coverage assessments, and available funding. Zavala Elementary Proposers must visit each project site during the mandatory site visit period to verify existing camera coverage, installation conditions, network connectivity, and cabling paths necessary to provide a fully operational and integrated camera system. Failure to identify installation conditions during the site visit will not be grounds for additional compensation or change orders.
