If you wish you bid you must obtain them directly from (in this case would be the City of Mobile) to be a registered plan holder and meeting attendee to place a bid.*** Sealed proposals are invited for the construction of Project No: 2026-3005-01, titled "2026 CIP RESURFACING- DISTRICTS 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, & 7," involving street resurfacing and related work. Plans and contract documents are available from Sawgrass Consulting, LLC. Bidders must obtain these documents; a deposit is required, refundable upon return in reusable condition within ten days after bid opening. No bid packages will be issued later than twenty-four hours after the Pre-Bid Conference. A Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference will take place at the City Engineering Department; representation is required by a principal or current employee of the contracting company, and a single individual may not represent more than one company. Any contractor not represented will be disqualified. Bids must be submitted on the provided forms with all attached documents. The project excludes taxes and requires compliance with relevant Alabama laws and codes. Each bid must include a check or bid bond for five percent of the bid amount (up to $10,000), made payable to the City, as assurance that the successful bidder will enter into the contract and file a bond within ten days of contract award notice.
