The Nassau County Department of Public Works is requesting proposals from firms to provide Professional Construction Management and Inspection Services for the Construction Management Unit: Highway/Bridge Construction Group for Resurfacing Phase 74—Resurfacing Various Nassau County Roads. Services required include providing one Resident Engineer, one Office Engineer, and two Construction Inspectors as needed for managing all construction-related activities, contractor claims, and construction-related engineering services. The selected firm will be awarded a two-year agreement. Proposals should be submitted after careful examination of the complete RFP and its requirements. The selected firm must provide proof of general and professional liability insurance in the minimum amounts of $2,000,000 in the aggregate and $1,000,000 per occurrence. Proposers are required to comply with a good faith effort M/WBE goal and a good faith effort minimum of 6% SDVOB goal for the project and fulfill the requirements of applicable Nassau County Local Laws. Technical proposals must include information regarding the proposer’s plan to comply with these laws and submit a MWBE Utilization Plan with their proposal. All vendors must register with the County to respond to this solicitation.
