Chambers County is soliciting sealed bids for the reconstruction of Gordon Speer Chambers Parkway. The project consists of the reconstruction of approximately 0.97 miles of Gordon Speer Chambers Parkway and the extension of the Kilgore Regional Detention Facility. The specific description is: 330 linear feet east of SH-99 to FM-3180 and Chambers Parkway Detention and Mitigation Pond. Bids must include a completed notarized non-collusion affidavit. A cashier's check or acceptable bidder's bond payable to Chambers County, Texas in the amount of not less than 5% of the largest possible total for the bid submitted must accompany the bid. The County reserves the right to accept the most advantageous contract, reject any or all bids, and waive any informalities. No bid may be withdrawn until the expiration of ninety days from the date the bids are opened.
