Site work for a development in Katy, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a development.
Sealed bids will be received for the construction of improvements including re-use irrigation install and conversion of existing systems. Bidders are required to submit two copies of their bid using the provided Bid Form, and a Certificate of Interested Parties (HB Form 1295) must be included. A cashier's check or bidder's bond, payable to the Katy Management District, in an amount not less than 2% of the submitted bid is required. Bidders must have at least five years of confirmed experience on projects of comparable size and similar scope in the Houston area. The successful bidder must furnish Performance, Payment, and Maintenance Bonds at 100% of the contract price, executed by a corporate surety authorized to do business in Texas. The bid will be awarded based on the judgment of the Board as to which responsible person or persons will be most advantageous to the District and result in the best and most economical completion of the improvements. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive bidding informalities.
