Subject of the contract 1.1 OMHM is issuing a public call for tenders for the complete repair of balconies due to their advanced state of deterioration at Habitations Joseph-Janot, 872 - 950 Joseph-Janot Street, Pointe-aux-Trembles, Quebec H1A 5E8, Riviere-des-Prairies-Pointe-aux-Trembles borough. 1.2 The project is to carry out all work in accordance with the contractual documents. Without being limited, the scope of work includes: The complete refurbishment of the balconies, including: o Balcony and membrane resurfacing; o Shallow balcony repair; o The deep refurbishment of balconies; o The reconstruction of cantilever slabs; o The balcony nose reconstruction; o The partial reconstruction of slabs; o The design of new drip trays; o Repairing cracks in slabs; o The injection of cracks; o And any other related work. 1.3 The work will be carried out in the Joseph-Janot housing complex, which includes 4 buildings of 3 floors, located in the borough of Riviere-des-Prairies-Pointe-aux-Trembles. Put into operation in 2004, all the buildings total 40 units intended for families, couples and single people. There are 16 units of 1 bedroom and 24 units of 3 bedrooms. There is also an outdoor parking lot totaling 32 parking spaces. As part of the project, the balconies of the main entrances of all buildings are targeted for work. The balconies are made of concrete. All work will be done in the presence of the tenants. 1.4 During the work, the housing will be occupied. 2. Duration of the work 2.1 According to the current planning, it is planned that the work will start as soon as the letter of commitment is signed, but this date could be modified by the OMHM. In such a case, the modification cannot be used to justify an extra request from the successful bidder. 2.2 The work must be carried out within a maximum of 63 working days from the date confirmed in the letter of commitment for the start of the work.
