Minority / Women Business Enterprise contracting goals (MWBE) MBE Goal: 15.00% WBE Goal: 15.00% This project generally consists of demolition and removal of marina structures, installation of a replacement floating dock system, and repair of the existing rubble-mound breakwater. Bidders must obtain bidding documents through the specified plan room to be considered a Plan Holder of record. A non-refundable fee is required for electronic download, CD, or printed copies of the documents, with additional shipping and handling costs as applicable. Each bidder must submit a security deposit not less than five percent (5%) of the bid amount, in the prescribed form and subject to set conditions. If the successful bidder fails to enter into contract as required, the deposit will be forfeited as liquidated damages. No bids may be withdrawn within sixty (60) days after the opening date, but may be withdrawn before the receipt deadline. All materials incorporated into the project should exclude sales and compensating use taxes. All contract work must comply with applicable ordinances, regulations, laws, and State of New York Department of Labor rules. The right is reserved to waive informality, reject any or all bids, or make an award to other than the low bidder.
